A Quick Tip that will Change your Ironing Relationship

Confession time:  “I hate ironing…actually I border line loath it!”  For me ironing is right up there with dusting.  And as you can see from this post, I’m not so fond of that either.  So, occasionally I help myself to some shortcuts here and there!  My favorite by far is using a flat iron to iron hems and button holes.

Fresh out of the dryer…cute shirt, but a tad bit wrinkled, mostly in the button section.

Grab your flat iron.  Way easier than taking out the big ironing board and iron.  Truth be told, I usually do this while I am wearing the shirt.  But for pictures sake I’ll spare you that! 🙂

Heat it up.  It will just take a minute!

Now just run the flat iron over the wrinkled edges.

This little hack has saved me so many times on a Sunday morning!  It works great on dress hems for my girls when I’m running out the door.

It’s not perfect, but lets face it, when you are rushing out of the house this is a quick fix!  So, go ahead and try it.  you’ll  be glad you did!
